Ackworth PramFest
The PramFest can trace its origins back to the 1970s and is a fun day to raise money for great causes.
Ackworth Scarecrow Festival
The scarecrow festival was established in the summer of 2020 as the Covid pandemic was in its peak as a way to bring everyone together and to brighten up the village.
In 2023 Ackworth Parish Council became involved with the Scarecrow Festival and donated prizes which were presented at the Village Gala
Ackworth Advent Windows
The Ackworth Advent Windows competition started in over the Christmas period of 2020 with households decorating a window every day through December. This will hopefully be an annual event.

Ackworth Art Walk
Begun in 2018 by the Made in Ackworth Community Group, the Ackworth Art Walk is usually held twice a year in the Spring and Autumn. Some of our local creatives open up their working studios and some hold stalls in the Bell Lane Community Centre to sell their handmade goods.
